Over the past Years, the number of orphans and vulnerable children living in Uganda has been escalating at an alarming rate. In 2019, the number of orphans was estimated to be 1.8 million; in 2021 During Covid Period that number had grown to nearly 2.6 million. Over one million of those children have lost their parents.

In a small village in Uganda, Nambi’s life was marked by struggle and resilience. She battled mental illness and faced exploitation, leading to seven unplanned pregnancies. Despite the odds, she worked tirelessly to provide for her children, but the challenges were overwhelming.
The family lacked access to basic necessities like food, clean water, healthcare, and education. Nambi’s children were at risk of inheriting the cycle of poverty and suffering. But Nambi’s love and determination kept them going.
