Detailed 8-Day Uganda Safari

Your 8-Day Uganda Safari adventure begins with a comfortable pick-up from your accommodation in either Entebbe or Kampala. Murchison falls Tour ensures your journey starts on the right note with a smooth and relaxed road transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, which takes approximately 5-6 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Along the way, you will be treated to scenic views of Uganda’s countryside, including lush green fields, local villages, and winding roads.
Rhino Tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Before entering the national park, your first exciting stop will be at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. This sanctuary is the only place in Uganda where you can track rhinos in the wild, making it a unique and important conservation site. Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is located about halfway between Kampala and Murchison Falls, and the 1-2 hour rhino tracking experience is a fantastic way to start your 3 Days Murchison Falls National Park Uganda Safari.
Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, you will hike through the sanctuary, learning about the rhino’s behavior and the conservation efforts to protect them. Rhino tracking at Ziwa is a peaceful, thrilling experience, and there’s a great chance you’ll get up close to these majestic animals as they roam freely in their natural habitat.
Hike to the Top of Murchison Falls: A Breathtaking View
After your time at the sanctuary, continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, head straight to one of the park’s most iconic features: the Murchison Falls themselves. This breathtaking waterfall, where the Nile River surges through a narrow gap and drops dramatically over a 43-meter cliff, is an awe-inspiring sight.
A guided hike to the top of the falls will offer panoramic views of this powerful natural spectacle. The hike itself is about 1-2 hours, allowing you to feel the mist from the falls and hear the roaring sound of the water crashing below. The sight and sound of the falls are mesmerizing, making it one of the best photo opportunities during your 3 Days Murchison Falls National Park Uganda Safari.
Evening Game Drive: Exploring the Savannah at Dusk
After the hike, your first game drive through Murchison Falls National Park awaits. The park is known for its abundant wildlife, and during the evening game drive, you’ll encounter a variety of animals as they become more active in the cooler part of the day. The park’s landscape, which includes savannah, woodland, and riverine areas, provides a diverse range of habitats for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, and various antelope species.
Your experienced 3 Days Murchison Falls National Park Uganda Safari guide will share fascinating insights about the park’s ecosystems and help you spot some of its more elusive residents, including leopards and hyenas. The evening game drive is an excellent way to start your safari, and the setting sun adds a magical quality to the experience.
